Our mission is to preserve and interpret interest in the history of Gray County and the White Deer Land Company through education with regard to the land, the people, and their stories.
The White Deer Land Museum, located in downtown Pampa, Texas, was authentically restored from the 1916 office of the White Deer Land Company. The museum, originally opened in 1970, is a true walk into the past as you get to experience the history of the White Deer Land Company as it was when in function, as well as the history of Gray County. The museum features exhibits representing the lives of the early inhabitants of the county up to the present.
